Barry Colman

Business Background

Barry Colman is a Shareholder and the Chief Executive Officer of XY Locate. Prior to assuming the role of CEO in 2020, Barry has served as an experienced executive within leading telecoms providers.  Barry’s last role was an Executive Director position within Ingram Micro. Ingram are a leading provider of forward and reverse logistics services, specializing in consumer electronics, fashion and IT hardware. Barry is an Entrepreneur and has a very experienced and strategic outlook to developing companies.

Personal and Educational background

Born in Ireland, Barry spent most his young adulthood in South Africa developing business opportunities. Barry moved to the UK with his family where his interests have been focused around telecoms and technology. Barry has an MBA in Business Administration and Strategy and has also recently completed a Blockchain Qualification to help pursue business interests. Barry is also a keen fitness enthusiast where he has successfully completed Ironman Triathlon events and endurance events such as the Comrades Marathon.
